PHILOSOPHY I think it's easy to forget how amazing is our ordinary world. I try to keep an eye to using my photography to tell stories of place.
When you look at my work, I want to show you more than a still life, a moment, or a landscape. I wish for you to see beyond the images-an abandoned wooden boat becomes the memory of fishermen pulling their oars through the mist of morning, and a tree tells the tale of years standing strong in the face of storms.
A LITTLE MORE I study photography continuously to hone my craft. In addition to the plethora of self study opportunities on the web, I have studied photography at Santa Fe Community College, Maine Media Workshops, and Santa Fe Photographic Workshops.
I'm a native daughter of Michigan, now living in New Mexico.
